The Approached Positioning Report
The calls have gone quiet. Find out why.
Get your Positioning Report in under 5 minutes. Your LinkedIn profile, scored against how decision-makers actually read senior profiles: whether your level, scope, and impact land in the first six seconds.
You'll see exactly how your profile is being read, which areas are stopping you from being approached, and how to fix it.
What it is
A guided assessment of your LinkedIn profile, built on how hiring leaders, executive search firms, and senior colleagues actually read senior profiles. At Head of, Director, and C-suite level, no one is checking against a fixed standard. They're reading for level, scope, and impact in six seconds. If those don't land, the profile gets skipped.
Senior positioning can't be diagnosed accurately by AI alone, so you'll answer 12 scored questions across the 10 LinkedIn sections plus a few context questions so the Report is tailored to where you actually are.
5 minutes. $0. Built for senior leaders across AU & NZ, UK, US & Canada, Singapore and Japan.
I've personally reviewed 8,000+ LinkedIn profiles across 119 countries. The Approached Positioning Report is the same diagnostic we use inside Get Approached with Heads of, Directors, and C-suite professionals globally.
What you'll know in under 5 minutes
You came here because something is broken. Here's what you'll know.
- Your positioning band. Invisible, Overlooked, Considered, or Approached. The band names what is happening when decision-makers find your profile right now.
- What that band means in market. Whether you are being skipped past in six seconds, considered but not acted on, or already approachable but not yet being approached consistently.
- Where your positioning is strong and where it is not. A breakdown across the four pillars of senior career positioning: Position, Signal, Target, and Relationships.
- Whether your next move is the rebuild, the conversations, or both. The band you score in tells you which.
- How to get started. Apply for a $0 Positioning Assessment if you are ready to talk about your rebuild, or join the Approached Membership if you want a lower-commitment way to start the work.

Here's what Heads of, Directors and senior leaders have said
Wow, this is fantastic, very thorough! Not at all what I expected! Thank you! So impressive and very helpful!
Director.
OMG! This is brilliant. It's so clear and actionable. I look forward to catching up later this week.
CTO, Head of Technology.
I spent three months applying, trying AI platforms and other resume writers, and got nowhere. Within 24 hours of working with Approached I had my first interview. Even after 15 years in a single company, I now look professional and have my strengths highlighted.
IT Professional. Interview 24 hours later. Hired.
Hi! Thank you. This is very insightful. There are some things that really stand out.
Executive Leader & Transformation Specialist.
It cuts through the noise and leaves me with these magical nuggets and also a million more questions!
Head of Marketing.
Within a week of working with Approached I had two interviews. One converted to an offer. Just over two months later I started a new role.
HR Director. Hired.
Approached took the time to truly understand my career journey, strengths, and future goals and translated that into a resume and LinkedIn profile that genuinely reflects who I am. Despite a competitive market I had multiple offers and landed a Director role.
Head of Operations. Multiple offers. Landed Director role.
"Wow, your new profile looks amazing." (24 hours after their rebuilt profile went live, LinkedIn connections were reaching out unprompted.)
Operational Transformation Director.
I thought my LinkedIn profile was reasonably strong. What I hadn't appreciated was how misaligned it was with how recruiters actually assess candidates at senior level. Approached's feedback was targeted, strategic and grounded in real recruitment insight. They focus on outcomes, not just aesthetics.
Director.
Most senior leaders score in the Invisible or Overlooked band the first time
A low score isn't the verdict. It's the starting point.
Before you start
Open your LinkedIn profile in another tab while you answer. You don't need to remember everything. The Positioning Report walks you section by section.
Filling in the form
Your name. First and last.
Your email. Where we should send your Report.
Your current role and company. For example: Head of Operations, [your company]. Or Head of Strategy, [your company]. Or Director of Risk, [your company]. Real role at real organisation.
The role you want to be approached for next. Be specific. The more detail, the sharper the read. Example: Director of Operations or COO at mid-cap banking or fintech in [your region]. Or Group CFO at ASX, FTSE, or NYSE-listed mid-market across financial services. Title, sector, market.
Your region and target compensation band. Local currency. The Report is calibrated to senior bands across seven markets, so name your region accurately.
Your Report is built from the same positioning framework I use inside Get Approached. I'll also send a copy to your email so you can come back to it.
FAQ
Why 12 questions about my profile?
Because that's enough to score the 10 sections of your LinkedIn profile fairly. Each section gets at least one question, with Headline and About weighted more heavily because they carry the most diagnostic value at senior level.
Will my answers be private?
Your answers only go to Approached. We use them to prepare for any conversation we have later, including the Positioning Assessment if you apply for one. They don't go to a third party. The Early Approach newsletter is sent on Thursdays. You can unsubscribe any time.
What happens after I take the Report?
You'll receive your Positioning Report on the next screen. Your score, your positioning band (Invisible, Overlooked, Considered, or Approached), the section-by-section read, and your three fixes. A copy goes to your email so you can come back to it.
From there, two paths.
If you want to talk through your Report and map the next 90 days, apply for a $0 Positioning Assessment. A 60-minute structured working session, no commitment to anything that follows.
If you want a lower-commitment way to start the work, the Approached Membership at 100 AUD per year is the entry point. It includes the Career Practice (12 monthly themes), the monthly Member call, the Member directory, and an invitation to the first Member event in Kyoto, January 2027.
Either path works. Neither is necessary. Many senior leaders take the Report, use the recommendations on their own, and come back six months later when the next role surfaces.
What if I'm not in Australia?
The Report is calibrated for senior corporate roles across AU & NZ, UK, US & Canada, Singapore and Japan. Senior career positioning works the same way regardless of where you sit; the rooms where decisions get made are local but the structure is global.
Stop Applying. Get Approached.
